Melina is a popular American actress. Her most well-known role is for playing the role of Dr. Sydney Hansen, a doctor on the NBC series Providence as well as the character Dr. Lane Hunter from the medical drama The Resident. The actress was also praised for her television debut as Eleni Andros Cooper on CBS's soap opera Guiding Light. The most memorable film roles she has played are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a film with Vlas Parlapanides (the pair who created the Immortals) is said to be in the works.
