Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born August 9th, 1976 at Beaumont Puy de Domme. Her parents, who have a doctor for teeth and a school teacher helped and encouraged her initial passion for drama and theatre. Her initial dream to be a monkey expert was replaced by a desire to study theater and drama. The rise was swift in her career to become an internationally renowned young actress. Following her graduation, she participated in the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers that was sponsored by Canal+. She won the Best Young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors and began her professional career as an actor. Tautou went to church and Institut Catholique de Paris during her early years, but has since gotten rid of these upbringings. As well as her acting profession, she pursued a modelling career. She is also the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse. She also has a serious photographic passion and has recently exhibited her work at the Arles Festival under the title Superficial. In her photographs, she is mainly focused on celebrities and fame. The camera's focus is at journalists, who sat and watched her rise to fame in Amelie. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom as well as international recognition with her first big role, starring as the lead in The Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Pouulain. Amelie received international acclai box office success and was recognized at award ceremonies all over the world. It is the top-grossing French film in America. The following year, she starred in British dramas including Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things as well as Jean-Pierre Jeunet Un long dimanche de fiancailles. After that, Tautou went to Hollywood in the United States, where Ron Howard directed the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code.
